Varsity Lady Knights Start Season Off Strong

Both the Varsity Girls volleyball and basketball teams started off their season's this past week!  Three of our female athletes:  Taylor Matthews, Tanya del Rosario, and Taran Estad play both volleyball and basketball!

The basketball team started off their season with a friendly game against OFS.  The lady knights have been learning a new offensive system at their practices, and they executed it beautifully in their game winning 36-21!  Taylor Matthews led all scorers with 14 points.  Many of our proud parents commented after the game that they were very impressed with how well the ladies passed the basketball!  The lady knights next basketball game will be Thursday, September 26th versus Waseda Secondary School with a 5:30 tip off!

2013-2014 Varsity Ladies Basketball Team

The Volleyball team travelled to United World College East this past Friday to open up their 2013 season!  This team features 3 seniors, 3 juniors, 3 sophomores, and two freshman!  The ladies are coached by Ms. Sarah Crossfield.

UWC East started the match off very strong and took the first set 25-14.  The lady knights came back with a strong opening rally in the second set and held on to win it 25-23.  UWC East was two strong in the third and Fourth sets winning, 25-12, and 25-13 to win the match 3 sets to 1.

The lady knights played with a great attitude the entire time, and we are looking forward to seeing them in action again this Thursday at Nexus International School.  The match will start at 4:30, and we would love to see you there!
